Display posts from previous: Users browsing this forum: If you want to stretch your legs and enjoy a coastal walk and views then give it a go. If you want to be entertained then look elsewhere! If the clouds stay away! You'll need transport to get there or it's a good hike from the centre of Playa Blanca. The area is under-developed but it's a good vantage point for a spring sunset. The lighthouse itself isn't worth the trip here.
However, if you walk from the bus stop south of there, past the lighthouse and wander along the path that goes along the coast, the breakers along this whole stretch of coast are quite spectacular. A beautiful walk to the Lighthouse, but as all the other reviews state the lighthouse itself isnt anything to write home about.
However the rocks and sea around this area are a fantastic sight. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk to and from and saw some great sea birds during the walk.
